The mission of the 4DayU Wellness Center is to provide quality psycho-wellness offerings.

These offerings are intended to help create a more fair and just society by empowering

individuals to utilize resources in order to achieve their maximum potential. We explore

help-seeking behavior. The 4DayU Wellness Center is a veteran-owned company that

seeks to assist everyone on the path to change.

Workshop Genesis

For many years, financial resources have been applied to increase the academic performance

of minority males and reduce negative behaviors that lead to negative societal outcomes. The

challenge of meeting this need is the prime directive of Goal Orientation Motivation. The

4DayU Wellness Center's Goal Orientation Motivation workshop was created by a team of

mental health and educational professionals. The program was founded on many years of

research to include educational taxonomies and mental health studies. The principle of

psycho-wellness leading to help-seeking behaviors was adopted to focus on preventative

measures that will help increase each individual's chances of achieving positive outcomes. The

GOM workshop model uses a dual-facilitator practice to ensure maximum effectiveness.

The lead co-facilitator, a 26 year military veteran, brings a wealth of experience through

in-person group facilitation of this life-changing workshop. He has a master's degree in

psychology and is continuing with a doctorate in clinical psychology. He has expertise as a

master training specialist. The focus of this team of professionals was to create a program that

contributes to positive social change through maximizing the use of resources,

minimizing waste, and developing help-seeking behaviors.
